For parents (or grandparents) of young children….
Relax! God put the wiggles in children. Don’t feel like you have to suppress them here at UACC. All are welcome in God’s house.
We encourage you to sit toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to see and hear what’s going on. They tire off seeing the back others’ heads.
Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the people leading worship. Sing the hymns, pray, and voice the responses. Children learn by copying you, so be a good example for them. In the foyer (back of the sanctuary) in the cabinets are coloring books and crayons if you need them.
If you need to leave with your child, feel free to do so but please come back. As Jesus said, “let the children come to me.” You are also welcome to visit the nursery located on the second floor during worship. Restrooms are available in the back of the sanctuary on the west side of the foyer.
On the 4th Sunday of every month, we also offer children’s church for our youngest of friends to go upstairs, have a Bible story, craft, and snack during the sermon time of worship.
